So every year I make Trick or Treat Bags for the girls in my life and this is the first of 6 that I will be making. I have chosen two different patterns a simple black bag with orange trim, a ghost and the words BOO on the bottom. The other bag that I will be making is Frankensteins' head. I hope that you like it.
The Knit Wit Booger.
I love how these Elephant Rattles look and they are simple to make and fast to make.... makes a great gift for that new baby in your life. Here is Baby Madalyn with her new toy. (It's as big as her).
Our lovely friend had a precious baby girl earlier this month. Her room had a jungle theme and her colors were mint green and chocolate brown, I had lots of fun with this pattern:
This is a varation of a Caron Yarns pattern. You can see the original here
This is the latest scarf I have made for Ms. Sandy, a co worker, this is for a little boy. It's speckled with black and dark brown, and the main color is a light beige color.
So, I bought myself and Cheyenne a knitting loom, thinking it would be easier for Cheyenne to make scarfs and blankets like she has been wanting to do watching me. I have tried it out and it's really easy to use, I have made myself a scarf and here it is.
I wanted to make a rattle for a friend and I have done the one that is in the shape of an octopus, however, my friends nursery is jungle themed so I gave this cute little elephant a rattle effect. I am making 3 more for girls, in pink, so pink elephants will be posted as well. Here is the cute blue elephant for Baby Malachi.
Here is the pink one I have made for my Physical Therapist, whose wife is preggers and expecting anytime.
Babies Zachary and Kyle were born earlier this week and so I'd like to debut their blankets, they are mirror images of each other. I love how such a simple pattern can be repeated without making the blanket too busy:
This is a round blanket using a free pattern from Lion Brand. I changed the joining to be a simple slip stitch all the way around and changed the color scheme to match the choices made by the recipient. This was made using Caron Simply Soft and after watching the V stitch that's used throughout the piece makes a very soft fabric with this yarn.
Two best friends' journey teaching themselves and each other the various intricacies of needle crafts; most recently knitting and crochet.
Posts focus on pictures and patterns of current and completed projects.
